I write to thank you for the work you have done with my company over the last two years. You have helped turn what I always thought was a good business into a brilliant business.
Office atmosphere and morale has been completely lifted and transformed, people are looking at their roles with a different perspective, what might have been difficult issues are now dealt with enthusiastically, managers are now enjoying responsibility rather than shunning it and encouraging junior staff instead of leaving them to find their own way. Best of all is we are realising we are building a solid team. In the past we have worked well as a set of individuals, but as you have demonstrated a good team will achieve so much more.
The '5 year plan' you helped us establish is well within our sight now, when we started to pull it together it was a daunting prospect to the Senior Team, that same Senior Team are now thinking what can we achieve after 2010 - now that's what I call real progress. We achieved Investors in People standard last week, definitely helped by using business tools and strategies introduced to us by your good self, and proof we are headed in the right direction.
So we look forward to working with you on the next part of 'the adventure' Dave and some really exiting times ahead. (Who said work could not be fun?)
