It is now 2 years since you completed the Benchmark Index Assessments for our Group Companies (Linpave Building Ltd, UCS Ltd and National Road Planning Ltd) so I thought I would update you on your progress and once again acknowledge the lasting impact of your work with us.

In this past two years we have made many improvements across the board that are now translating into dramatically improved results. I believe part of this ongoing success is due to the clarity of our business position brought by the BI reports; helped by your interpretation of the results and identification of improvement areas. Your Commentary Document really helped us understand the reports and strengthened our resolve and confidence in our chosen improvement strategy.

I would also say that the workshop part of the Assessment provided an excellent opportunity for our managers to discuss the Business and to become involved in the improvement process. As you predicted, involving our managers in this way made the task of implementing change far easier than would have been the case had we adopted a top down approach. Looking back I also feel the workshops helped forge relationships within our business and had a positive teambuilding effect - your relaxed, easy and professional approach certainly helped.

I feel we are bringing about lasting positive change here at Rand Group and that you have made a significant contribution towards that.
