Thanks for handling our convention last week. Our Chairman's opening remarks promised an innovative, participative, topical, productive and different convention - I am not sure many people really believed him. In the event it was all that and more - you managed to get everyone involved and energetically focussed on producing the desired outcome.

Your approach produced surprising results considering the number of people involved, the wide scope of the topic and the limited time available. It was remarkable to see the enthusiastic participation and 'energy' that lasted throughout the day - especially on a Friday when the delegates' minds were already on the weekend.

The IDONs strategy produced and the actions from the syndicates that followed will certainly inform the Interoperability Business Case that the CICA will now be putting to UK Government and major industry clients. That was the result I was looking for from the day; and judging by the delegate feedback, both in the bar afterwards and from their returned event forms, they seemed very happy with the outcomes and value for their money.
